Unreal. Careful where you plug in!

He has a good point - People plug in phone and laptop chargers wherever, and don't get arrested.

If he lives in the same district as the school, he could potentially say his tax dollars paid for it. :)

UPDATE - The police department is firing back: http://green.autoblog.com/2013/12/05/ni ... al-police/

My issue is this: The cop actually opened the door and GOT IN the guy's car? Somehow, I'm thinking there might be a bit of 'overstepping' there.

I should think *IF* this gets to court, any decent Judge would toss it out and reprimand the state prosecutor along with the arresting officer.

He *stole* a nickles worth of electricity, and for that he spends time in jail? What's next? Shall we arrest people for stealing pens? Same logic, after all, stealing IS stealing, irregardless of the item or value.

on reading the full report assuming accurate it was not the stealing of electricity. it was the beligerance and tresspassing. he just used the theft charge as a "this is how I can screw you" thing.

if your doing something you should not be doing (taking power) and you are doing it in a place your not supposed to be (tennis courts) then you shut up. suck up the humble juice and say I am sorry. I should not be here. I won't do it again. I am sorry for causing you trouble.

and very likely NOTHING would have ever happened. ever.

but act like a douche and the guy with the bigger stick (police) just might swing their stick.
