I'm going to go to the track on friday so I want to buy some race fuel today. It's all 6$ a gal. I don't run a CAT so I was thinking, I have about 1/2 a tank of 91, for me to get that octane up good i'd have to buy a lot of 104 unleaded. Could I just buy a Gal of 130octane Leaded fuel? Is that a bad idea? I'm going to buy it tonight. Is mixing leaded with unleaded bad? Is leaded fuel gonna screw up my car at all?

Thanks

you may not have a cat, but you do have an oxygen sensor... and leaded gas+oxgen sensor is bad juju.

Leaded fuel screws with two things, your cat and your O2 sensor. You still have one of those two things on your car. Just run your car to near empty on the 91, then fill up with a couple gallons worth of 104. That way you'll get as close to pure, non-dilluted 104 as possible.
