http://www.slickdeals.net is the end all be all of deal sites..

http://www.fatwallet.net is good too, i dont like their format though, and they always have the same stuff both places, but fatwallet will give you cash back... if u use their clickthrus...

at slickdeals, look OFTEN... bc the best stuff is short lived... for instance...

I got 5 copies of soul caliber 4 for ps3, the collectors edition... from amazon... for $39 each! (retail is $79)

Early bird gets the worm!

1) Create an account with google reader. http://www.google.com/reader

2) Add the RSS feeds to your google reader account for the following slickdeals.net, stealdeals.net, techbargains.com, and fatwallet.com

a) http://www.slickdeals.net/rss.php

b) http://stealdeals.net/stealdeals.xml

c) http://www.techbargains.com/rss.xml

d) http://www.fatwallet.com/rssfeed.php?c=71

3) Now all you have to do is visit your google reader page to see the deals. Of course you can add more RSS feeds to watch more sites. This also works for news sites and some online forums.

Funny you mention it.... The past 2 years ive slept outside different best buys... 1st one in NJ, then this yr in NY.

Both years i was first in line, and i paid a friend to wait with me so i can maximize the situation. I show up on thanksgiving at 1pm, and sit there until 6am the following day. Both years it has rained pretty hard lol and has been freezing cold.

Yr1 i spent $40k, returned 28k later (it was my first time, i made mistakes lol). The 12k i kept, turned into around 6k in profit. (i had bought so much stuff i needed a penske truck to take it all home)

Yr2 i spent around 12k, fit it all in the coupe, an altima sedan, and a f150. Deals werent NEARLY as good, but i still turned around a $3500 profit. I was also on local television being the 1st one in line... a quote from the broadcast... (i have it at home, ill get it online one day)

"its tenacious out here, people are stepping on women and children to get a $250 laptop"

Nice. I'm a pretty big Black Friday shopper myself sitting outside the stores all night, usually one of the first 5. It is getting crazier and crazier every year though with what time you have to show up to be in the front of the line. First year I showed up at 11PM Thanksgiving, now you pretty much have to skip Thanksgiving, and the deals are getting worse. I've turned a profit, nothing like you though, I usually get some laptops.

I have problems finding someone actually willing to sit out there with me, they all want me to pick them up something though.

Depending on the deals I may go all out this year, tent, air mattress. End of August/September you can usually find me on bfads.net

My favorite by far is http://www.dealstop.com/ . They used to be StealDeals.net, but just rebranded to http://www.dealstop.com/ . Great deals on just about anything

Also, they have an RSS feed here >>

http://www.spoofee.com/index.php

Spoofee isn't that bad, they have pretty much the same things as slickdeals and it's all there on one page. I use both of those sites.
