I just received my set of LBC GTR style tail overlays (thanks LBC) and have been doing some research on how to apply them. The thread with LBC's ordering information gives links to directions for a wet application as well as a dry (with heat gun). I am just wondering which is the best and, for those who have done this already, which is the easiest?

Thanks in advance for the help!

No you didnt, I was referring to the video that is linked from your post:

"A Video that may help- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s0xR5JDv2CM"

It shows how to apply the vinyl dry with simply a squeegee and heat gun. Just wanted to make sure this wasnt the easier way (doesnt look that simple in the video).

I will follow your instructions, thanks!!

Yah, thats just with their film. Keep it wet so that you can move it around with easy.

I used 1/2 water and 1/2 baby soap. Same you would use for window tint.

Spay lightly but enough, Its gotta be able to be worked with but not sit under the tint after your done.

Brian i was having issues with it not actually sticking on the lip i was doing exactly what you were discribing but it wasnt sticking in that lip.

maybe thats from me having massaged the edges too much. ( touching the edge too much)

How long was it off the application paper while you were trying to do this... sometimes ironically the material doesnt feel like its got any more stickyness to it, but it actually does, if you can get it laid down in that area, and heat it while you are pushing it in the groove it should stay
