LBC's SEMA 2009 PICTURE THREAD 600+ PICS! 56k KILLER!

Ok, so a little lead in…I got to Las Vegas on Wed night and met up with Torry (ezcheese) for some drinks before retiring for the evening at around 1am, to wake up at 7am to get to the show nice and early.

Upon my arrival at the Las Vegas Convention Center I checked in (with my NICO credentials handy) in a jiffy and then took out my camera. I cannot explain the magnitude of the show, it just cant be explained… It makes the NY Auto Show look like childs play! (no pun intended greg!)

Thursday I left the show at around 4pm, I ran thru every section of the convention center… all 2 square miles of carpet, and my legs felt like jello, but Torry and I still managed to make it out to the SEMA Afterparty where I met some of the oldest Nico-Nauts around (sr20 guys, Hi!).

Friday I also woke up early to make it to the show and that’s when I was taking my time to revisit the areas I just “saw” on Thursday. I also took the opportunity to get as many autographs as possible, and I only missed out on 2 (chip foose and steve saleen).

All in all it was an amazing experience, I got to meet some amazing legends, shake hands with some of the familiar faces/names on NICO, and just enjoy the atmosphere.

Ok, what they had out back was a Ford Fiesta promo, drive it around the track, and then they give you a ride along in a vette driven by a Bondurant Driving School Instructor… They yelled at me because I was quasi autocrossing with the new Fiesta, but it aint a party car unless you hear the tires squeal!Then you see a series of pics of me trying to take sequential shots out the side of the vette lol.You know that lexus that’s on the cover of all the car mags this month? Here it is! The seat was super comfortable, and the free mojitos they were serving were on point!

WOW dude those are a SIHT LOAD OF PICS... Great pictures LBC. I wasn't able to go this year because of work contracts I had, but those pics made me feel there. Besides all that walking is INSANE.
