WOW... Mike Surman, you need to use a little more discretion when your posting stuff about ME on the net.. NOT COOL!
It was so hot when we did this install, and i didnt have a camera, so theres no good pictures to do a writeup...
In all seriousness, with the FSM i could draw it out, but its much simpler than all of you are expecting, the thing you need to know how to do is electrical wiring, and getting a wire thru the firewall (forget about a pic of that, i could barely get my hand close enough with the hangar)..
Thats a quick sketch of the wiring... I used speaker cable as my power wires so it was already a ground and power attached to make it simpler. All the wires are grounded to the same ground the whole dash uses under the left side of the dash above the fuses.
We ran the power thru the firewall grommet, to a switch... to get the oznium switch to work right you connect constant power to one of the hot lines, all your hot wires from leds to the other, and the ground to the third.
TIP: The oznium round rocker switch... looks AWESOME... but you need to trim it a tiny bit, there is a clip on top and bottom to secure it once it is pushed thru, but on the side there is a raised ridge, you need to dremel that to be smooth or the switch is wider than the little blank areas we have.
The Rear cupholders just pull straight up and out (i snapped a tab on one but it doesnt matter, theres like 6)
We snaked the wires down the panel (without taking off the rear panel around the cupholder) down to the tube by the kickplate area, and then under the dash back to our "power station" under the radio's stroage box.
Theres actually a nice area to have your wires gathered under there.
The center console is a bit difficult to take out and get back in but SurmanM nor i had taken it out before and it took us 5 min to figure it out. Putting it back in and getting it over the ebrake took some logical thinking (getting a couch thru a door)
I put an led in the storage container because i had an extra one, im glad i did... in retrospect i would have put a white superflux in the center console container under your elbow.
We will be doing a similar install on SurmanM's car once he can sell his barbie collection on ebay to get some cash for the LEDS.
As far as cost is concerned, i went a little nuts on wire connectors, but the 4 bars in front were $30, and the superflux were $4 each... so total of $50 in leds (its amazing that replacing the factory leds cost me that same amount, damn festoon bulbs). All in with wire, you can do this for less than $75.
Also, the difficult part is getting started, once you have the battery disconnected, your dremel out and ready, wiring handy etc... It goes quick... I didnt think the front of the car was going to be lit up as much as it is, but its really wild and i dig it.
Also, Crocs rule. I dont wear them because they are cool, or because it gets me "hot chicks" like a pair of "Adidas" can lol... They are more comfortable than anything else, thats just the bottom line.
PS. Yes this banker wears Crocs to work!
