Hey guys... sorry for my disapearance for a bit, most of you know i was in cali, and when i came home i found out that the NASD/SEC was giving us issues with some nonsense at my bank... blah blah blah...

End of story, i didnt do anything wrong, but my compliance officer was a moron and as a result we had to shut the BD (broker dealer) down.

LBC lookin for work!

I just hope whatever i wind up doing, that i have the same amount of time to embrace the forums!

Im a sales guy... Finance is something i enjoy, but the swings are nuts..

I did these specific type of deals... "PIPES"In 05 there were like 300 done globally...in 06 there was 200ish... in 07 there were 160...and in 08 theres been like 30 done.

The rules and nonsense jargon about making this specific niche transaction that we specialized in made them impossible.

Im entertaining the idea of being a sales rep for pharm/tobacco...Any ideas/help is appreciated... pls email me if you feel like it!

Yeah, I've dispersed some of them already, just waiting for those people to sign up. BTW, I laughed at the sweet blue marker you wrote the address with. I thought it was a letter from a little kid or something.

Lots of Pharma down near me. My gf works for Merck and Wyeth is 2 minutes from my house.

Outside my window at work is Merck in Whitehouse Station, NJ....

Yeah... im looking for something thats HQ is in the tristate area... i need to be able to move up the ranks without moving to Omaha hehehe

I worked at Merck for a bit. It was a nice place to work, good benefits. Sales are crazy in the pharma industry though.

Haha, Merck is a good company (minus the vioxx thingy....)

yeah where i live its a 2 lane hwy...and sometimes turns into 1 lane and sharp turns and all kinds of bull****...

i drive the 101 EVERYDAY...and i hate it....i have no idea how the freeways are in L.A. because the last time i was in L.A. was 11 years ago....
