I got an idea for they guys that live in the cold. If you cut the brown wire to be able to make the lights go where you want them then you comprimise the use of the button when your lights dont go up in cold weather. Well go to lowes and buy a switch or a button with two wires(Wires A and B) when you cut the brown wire (wire 1 and 2) just connect wire A with Wire 1 and Wire B to 2 and then you have a way to reconnect the brown wire when its needed when its cold outside.
