I don't see how it's anymore ghetto rigged than the pivot, not to mention it's hella more simple, just put a toggle switch in one of the wires. You don't have to be that fast with the switch, the lights come up kinda slow.

Maybey your lights are ****ed up, cuz mine pretty much zip up and down. And inside the car its hard to see the angle of the lights. Pivot isnt ghetto rigged, you adjust the small pivot unit and you can get out of the car and see if that angle is good. Simple equalls ghetto rigged in this case.

One question, i found a way to leave the eyes in a position although it will sacrifice visibility a bit i want to try it, i removed the relay that reads "H/L return control" i think that's what it spells, and wlel the motor is disabled now will this interfere with anything else or affect my alternator in a way, or anything else? Hope someone could help me out, thanks

um, what happens is the lights come all the way up when u push the headlight button, the toggle button is actualy a momentary on or closed switch. then you press the headlight button again but the headlight dosent go down, thats when you push or tap or whatnot to get the headlights down to the leve you want them. they go into their full upright postion when you turn the lights or highbeams on.

when i turned on the lights, having the relay off, they didn't go up or down they just turned on, and off. The light itself stayed open where i had set it. My worry is if having the relay off will damage anything. thanks
