I went to the track and did some racing over the holidays. I used a variety of techniques to launch my 240, and had my best time and 60 when I slipped the clutch and made it stinky. What do you all prefer to do, or find most useful? Feel free to post as well.

p.s. I know way better than to neutral drop...nor do I have an auto.

I try to prevent wheel spin as much as possible by controlling the gas.

best times I got with a 5 speed were on drag radials dumping the clutch from 4000.

Dump from 4 grand? Wow. But then again, radials are meant to stick vs my Widetrack HRs.

Depend on who I'm racing. One of my friends I take off from idle. Someone on the street I usually go to 3k my tires are strange. Sometimes 3k is too much sometimes it's not enough dam Falkens.

I'm not a huge fan of Falkens, as far as drag goes. But I do like the model that is damn near a slick. I saw a girls civic with some and she just doesn't need to be putting such awesome grip to waste.
