HICAS doesnt mean you have a LSD... just means it was an option. If you have ABS and HICAS then you should have a LSD. It sounds like you dont since the car walks alot. Your RPMs are a tad high for a KA... you would get a better launch from 3k since that is when the torque begins to rise which helps not to spin the tires as much and allows you to be in a good spot in your powerband.

My 91' 240SX gets terrific grip launching at 6K on a good road. I do not have LSD and typically only get one wheel drive on slippery poor roads if I launch too high. On any good road I get 2WD or nothing. Before I replaced the 205/60R15 toyo's with 205/60R15 Falcon Ziex I couldn't launch very high though. 5K was asking for a ***-kicking. Since your cars sways left and right you are spinning both tires. 1WD stays very staight usually, burning both gives a adrenaline pumping sway down the rode. If you've launched enough you'll know when your car has decided to unload all the power on one tire.

ok so what you are saying is if iam launching and spinning both tires and i start to sway a little then i have LSD correct?? i thought having LSD would make the car go straighter on a launch??
