How high are your rpm's when you launch? Also what mods do you have in your car?

2500rpm, i burn out for half a second. AEM Intake.

I wouldn't quite call half a second a "burnout," more like a squeel. 2,500 seems about right to me. It's tough for me to launch, because my clutch is dying, so it slips quite a bit. ACT stage II here I come!

i usually launch at 3500rpm in my 98, a bit of burn out, but second slams in great and hauls a** in second,late third is where high hp cars get me,lol.

I launch at around 3000... theres a lil squeal but the tires grip soon after and then im off!

I have been launching at 3500-4000. Depends on pavement I am launching on. Idealing I trying to get wheel spin until 4000 rpm where I start making power. It will be different for every person. Like I said though, I ideally you want wheel spin, and then hook up where you are starting to make power.

when i launch on honduhz.. like last week i spanked an crx si.. wit cai no cats or mufflers and cam... i did a peel out at 3000 rpms.. but if im racing a twin cam or higher hp.. i stay at 1500.. i love to do mean launches on them.. to get the better of them.. ---'89 s13 (ghetto air box wit cold air mod.. and custom 2.25" piping wit a magnaflow muffler.. and oh yea im a damn good driver too):pface
