hopefully going to the drag strip next week to see what the g runs , but i was wondering what rpms does the g35 launch best at ive tried 4k and does pretty good , any feedback appreciated

Welcome to the G-forums.

I would try 3k and then lay into it once you have traction. There's enough torque multiplication in 1st to pull you pretty good.

One of the other guys who frequents the track will probably be able to give you a little more detail.

3K sounds about right

you want it to apply just enough where you start to lose traction, once you grab traction you can throw down the hammer

Yep! I would agree! I have tried launching at 3k RPM and the G took off like a beast without any hiccups. When i tried launching at much higher RPMS, it seemed like the clutch got stuck for a few minutes and the car wouldn't move, and then as i let off the gas, it started moving. So, i would agree with the 3K RPM.

Oh, and I beleive that I did this test on G_whizz's request a while back at 5K RPM, right after my clutch was replaced, and the clutch seemed to have stuck and wouldn't let the car move.
