I could be wrong, but it appears to me the color of your Q is Beige Silk Metallic Clearcoat (CKO).

Beige Silk has a noticeably deeper, darker, more rich hue than Pebble Beige Metallic Clearcoat (CG2) that is a lighter shade.

Beige Sand Pearl Clearcoat (KJ1), IMHO looks very similar to the FoMoCo-Lincoln color of Light Parchment Gold Metallic Clearcoat.

I don't always mean to be so anal but I can't help it. I just love all of the lovely shades of Q!

Thanks buddy. Actually this is for my 16 year old son. He can drive it 2-3 times a week. My daughter is driving the silver Mazda6.

Thanks. It looks much better today. I had it detail last Sunday. Pics were taken last week. I can check actual ext. color with VIN #.

I'm looking at the color chart brochure and only Beige Silk with (2-stage pearl finish) was offered in the 1994 model. The only interior color offered with Beige Silk was Beige. My '90Q was the Pebble Sand color which they quit offering after 93. They are both very similar in appearance.

Question to you and all reading this tread. I knew something was missing.

My 94 has some vertical rectangular openings just inboard of the "fog/driving" lights. Was that just a cosmetic lens or what?

yeah theres a small lens there that is just clipped in, it covers the screws to the foglamps.
