Well here are some pics of my s13 with new 17x7.5 +40 5zigen tyhpoons

To me the wheels dont seem tucked hardly at all. I havent put the spacers and studs on yet, but when i get the coilovers they'll probably be perfectly flush.

sorry about the big images, i'll resize em later

Let me know what yall think

It will look pretty sweet when you get the drop from the coil overs.

I was thinking about gettin Typhoons...

Will 17*9(17X9 5-114.3 35mm) in the rear and 17*8 (17X8 5-114.3 35mm) in the front fit? What about Z32 brakes?

Might be a good time to take down the Christmas lights. :D

Looks great!

p.s. "Battleship" comments are WEAK. Those things are about as flush as you can get without getting the "skateboard" look.

I guess that stuff is pretty heavy then...cause my S13 sat pretty low compared to yours with the DE and all accessories.

wtf...??

ROFL! d00d. why did you buy that offset? Do you have a honda? No.Do you have a 240SX? Yes.

So why are you buying FWD offset wheels? Geez..

You should have something like +35 at the most.

Anyways, when you put 17'' wheels, it will raise your car like that. When you get it lowered it will look better.. but that offset makes the wheels stick in way too much.

Sucks man.Good luck.

because unfortunately SOME 240sx owners think anything over +25 offset is for a FWD or 'honda' and can't look cool on a 240 becasue it doesnt make u look like a d1 drifeter. You're not cool if you have big offsets, did u know that? I think they look great. And this way he wont have trouble clearing brakes/coilovers etc.More often than not they'll look at the offset number to make a decision on if they like em instead of actually looking at the wheel on the car

Ah, I see.

They'd probably like some of the "ethnically altered" cars running around here in Phoenix.

other way around. lower offsets will clear more coilovers, those wheels might actually not not clear some of the larger ones. Brake clearance is based entirely on spoke design, it has nothing to do with offset.

it might look somewhat flush now, but when he drops it its going to look terrible. i dont like real offsets cause theyre jay-dee-emmmm i just like how it looks. wheels sunken into fenders simply do not look good. +40 wheels are flush on hondas, so they use the. +40 is not flush on rwd cars, so they shouldnt be used.

There's no chrome on the car...

Must be talking about the black rubber fender trim that was stock on 240's.
