My itb setup is doing good, dont drive that car much though lately, due to gas prices and the heat. I have lots of other things to do with it so probably be under the knife untill spring.

Cant speak for the others, they are probably working on more modifications as well

Just been driving mine. Was and still am tired of working on it, and not driving. But the event season is winding down, so I'll probably pull my engine apart, make my new intake mani, new exhaust mani, and throw the new head on. So basically now I'm REALLY REALLY gonna need cams. I just can't find any cams I want to drop $600 on.

Cool deal. Keep us updated, Iam also excited to hear about the ITB setups, Iam stuck on a few positions I want to do. Carbs or ITBs. But I don't think enough info on those around yet to brave me up for them. Keep up the good work!

ITB's are cheaper, easier, and make a smoother powerband. Not much reason to go with carbs imo. they can make a good amount of power, but it is much more peaky than the same setup with ITB's.

peaky, and now-a-days, carbs are more expensive. Especially since you have to convert your entire fuel system over to low-pressure for the carbs. ITBs, thanks to Suzuki and their motorcycles, can be found for $150-200, they're not $3000 like they used to be. A fuel computer need not be $2000+, $200 for a megasquirt-II is all that's needed.

I believe Panda on his current setup spent less than $1000, and that's before he sells/sold his stock parts like the manifold and wiring harness and stuff.

My project kicks off this weekend when I pull my motor. Time to get this thing into gear, lots of fun stuff going into this motor, I can't wait. My throttles have been sitting in my garage for, like, 5 months. Time for them to get some use.
