TrueDelta recently posted new Vehicle Reliability Survey results. These included the 2002, 2005, 2007, and 2008 Altima.
The 2002 appears to have a better than average repair rate, but the sample size was too small for a precise result. So maybe not--need more participants.
The 2005 and 2007 both appear to be about average, maybe a bit better.
The 2008 is clearly better than average. It appears that the Altima, like some other recent Nissans, requires fewer repairs after the first model year of a new design. (Sure, the coupe was new for 2008, but most of the parts are shared with the sedan.)

Did I mention that we need more participants, especially for 2006 and earlier?
