the active suspention on my 91 is constantly shutting down.i took the car to infiniti on the consult test they came up with bad G sensor reading i did a self diagnostic and came up with the same (code 14).i visually inspected the latteral vertical for&aft sensors everything look&feels fine.it comes up as"lateral G sensorsystem(1)OR(2)is faulty" i've been told this is extremely rare and am assuming that at worse one of the sensors is bad.the 1&2 systems consist of 4 sensors does anyone have away i can test the individual sensors ?time is an issue and i dont have enough of it to order them individually.also-is this causing the system shut down?

Andy-

It is rare, but it happens. There are 2 lateral sensors, they mount in the console inside the car, and are very accessable. When my originals failed I noticed it looked as if the previous owner had spilled something on them.

They do shut the system down when the computer detects something wrong. They are sold as a pair, you can't order them individually.

Call Joe at Scottsdale, he can order a new pair. Or, you knew I was leading uo to this, I have a spare pair. Email me for details. An easy DIY job.
