I caught wind of the new Rogue design (or is that redesign?) from a news article the other day. Looks like some others here have already posted about the redesign but here's the article I read...

Nissan rolls out new Smyrna-built Rogue crossover

If we haven't picked up a Juke by the time the new design hits the lots I'll try and take a test drive in one the new ones and let the members know what I think. I never really paid much attention to it since we have the Xterra, but I'll drop by here from time to time to see what's new with the redesign.

I'm curious, what's the opinion of current (or former) Rogue owners on the new design?

In my honest opinion, a third row seat? Is that really even worth it?

I have a Mazda Premacy (Mazda 5 in the U.S.) and it's comfy with 4-5 people and plenty of cargo space. But as soon as you put up the third row seating, comfort and cargo space go out the effing window.

The back seats are only really big enough for a couple of toddlers and besides that, you have to sacrifice the comfort of the middle passengers by scooting those seats closer to the front so whoever is in the back has more than 2" of leg room.

I'm all for a car with a practical third row, i.e. Chevy Suburban and the like, but a Rogue? Really?

I've got 2 kids, so third row is definitely a bonus! There little friends can jump in when we go places, then when its vacant, mucho boot room!
