This is my first carb car and the thing is i bought not running. The icm was bad so opted for the mallory distributor but the thing is i still have no spark. I replaced the ignition coil and still nothing. The motor gets fuel and everything, I just don't know why it doesn't get a spark and all your advice and help will be greatly appreciated.

Distributor? Pop the cap off and have a look at the rotor button, I've sen them burn through. Check for spark at the coil, I'd venture a guess to say you aren't getting a spark signal, and the 260z I think had a hall effect distributor. the mallory box should have instructions on testing for signal at the box.
