Last year for column shift ????

Hello!
I have a '69 521, it's my 3rd 521 and I have an undying love!
I'm looking at getting another '69 and I was curious if the J13 motors
ever had column shift...?

Or if anyone could tell me what the last year column shift was, that would be a great starting point,

Or (and this is my truest curosity) did maybe some crazy L-series motor have column shift...? In another country maybe...?
(or only in a galaxy far, far away?)

From what ive seen the last year for the collum shift would be the 64 L 320. 65 had the floor shifter like mine. The Australian model 521's were called Ute's & came with J series motors & may have had collum shifters. Stephen [IMH] would know more than me.

If I remember right  Austrailia got the column shift 521's but they are right hand drive...not inter-changeable

Everything I've ever read  and seen seems to indicate that the last U.S. column shift was the 64 320.  Except for the Complete Dastun Guide which doesn't mention a floor shift until the 66 520.
