I have been trying to dl FSM's, but none of them are available from teh usual places...

Can anyone tell me what these wires go to? This plug has 3 wires: 1x large black wire and 2x smaller yellow/blue wires.

The plug is from the S1 RB25DET upper, (located near the oil dipstick) and is supposed to plug into the car harness underneath the fusebox.

The problem is: the car only has a 2 wire plug. (one black and one yellow/blue wire. I have the 2 wire plug to replace the 3 wire, but, should I:

A: use only one of the 2 yellow/blue wires?

B: combine both of the yellow/blue wires into one wire for the replacement plug. (assuming these yellow/blue wires have the same signal)

Here are pictures:

This shows the 3 wire plug from the RB harness...

this is where the 3 wire is supposed to plug into.

this is the 2 wire plug with a 3" pigtail. (not in car)

I do not recognize that plug at all nor does it show up on the S1 wiring diagram. Are you sure it isn't from the lower harness? I think the only Y/L wires on the upper harness are the tach signal from the ECU to a test plug and idle signal wire for the TPS.

I've looked through a few S14 FSM's.. but, I still can't figure out which plug this is...

you have an auto trans car, hence the plugs being diffrent.just cut off the 3 wire plug and connect that black and yellow wire to that 2 wire black and yellow.use a continuity tester to check and find out which of those yellow/blue (really yellow/green on one...) is the prong for the oil pressure switch, wire that one into the other wire on the 2 wire plug and then shrinkwrap/tape off the remaining wire. sooooo that being said the black/yellow wire is the starter trigger and the yellow/green is the oil pressure switch.done and done.

Ah, perfect!! That's the answer I was looking for.. I figured it had to be something to do with the Auto transmission I pulled....

Thanks for all the help!!

Btw, are there a lot of Rb owners in Charlotte? I'm visiting friends and family in late August...
