Ok, Found another one, this may be the last one because I am thinking really hard about it!

1998 Maxima SE129,000 Miles1 Owner

It belongs to a friend of a friend. He was originally asking $5500 for it but today he said he would take 5k.... What do you all think?

Thanks for all your help. KBB retail for this car is ~7k I think so it sounds like a deal to me. I still have to drive it and look at it in person..but its local so...

5k is fair, but see if you can't get him a lttle closer to 4500.

Edit: Just noticed it was a 5 speed, jump all over it.

Yes, I agree. $5k for a 5sp is a good deal. Make sure you check it out and see if he has any maint records for it.

I have VIN but is is only 15 Characters..needs 17..so no carfax yet. I plan on asking about maint. records. I am also going to try to get him down a little more. Anything anyone knows of that are problem points for these?

^ Sounds good. I have been going through a friend, who was going through someone else.. I got the guys number today so I will be calling him tomorrow. I am having a few little problems with the 240 so I am kinda pushing this now, I hopefully will have it within a week or two.Thanks for your help guys, I will keep updated.

Just thought I would let everyone know I got it. Went and picked it up yesterday. I like it so far. It has a Y-Pipe from Custommaxima.com and a Strut Bar from there too. I will have more pics and such later hopefully.

Thanks guys.. Ran into a couple small (hopefully) problems so far but nothing that isnt tolerable at the time. maxhopper, I noticed you are from Louisville.. I am in London,KY as well as Knoxville.. I think London is somewhere around an hour or 2 away. If you ever come around this area let me know.
