i need 2 (well, 3 really) things to finish building my engine...

the kick in teh nuts part is: i know i have these, but cant find them

the bracket that holds the dipstick in place, and the tensioner for the alternator

my upper harness is missing now too... but i refuse to buy another when i know i have a working one .. and that is easy to put on after i get the engine in the car

also need an AC bracket with that little pulley on it (my bracket has the pulley broken off)

those things are all i need, anyone have an extra?then this

that coolant hole in the block on teh right side that splits into two, is that flowing in or out of the block?

and the coolant line from the turbo that goes around to the intake side, is that the feed or return?

the coolant line coming around the back from the turbo is return line.

boisehnsucht got it right about the coolant lines, The turbo coolant line that you are refering too is a return line also.

Regarding the dip stick and the A/c bracket, I might have them, I have to look in the pile that I got to verify that I 100% have them, I will get back to you on that some time with in a day or two.As well as the alternator bracket.

if the ac bracket is good, but the little pulley is messed up, then just get the pulley out of the junk yard. I think im using the KA24E pulley, but my original bracket.

interesting.

you see, my pully fell off.. don't know why it was loose, but whatever. no belt or anything on it at the time..

I've got another bracket w/ pully I was going to swap to when getting the AC working but maybe I can swap the pully to make a spare out of the 'bad' one later..

200sx s12 pulley is the same as well... mine did what yours did bio. fell off with no belt on there one day, so I snagged the one of my CA20E in the garage.

I've got a spare if you're still intrested. You can use a KA-E pully too if you need to.

thanks guys, i am talking to somone about the AC bracket now , and its not just the pulley that came off, the part of the bracket that holds the pulley is gone (i think this bracket came off the wrecked car i pulled my extra engine from... oil pan, oil pump, and i guess the ac bracket were destroyed.. not sure if i even packed up the good one from my engine)

and i should have an alternator bracket and stuff from boost boy, so i should good there

and i found the dipstick tube, got it installed yesterday .

now i posted a new thread on where im stuck right now(besides not being able to find the damn wiring harness)

and i will have pics up for it in about an hour or so, its the coolant lines on teh intake side... theres something that doesnt quite match up

this is the new thread, everything is explained better here
