Lash Killers?

Hey guys I have heard of a setup on the hydraulic lifters not really eliminating them but replacing them with something called lash killers(I guess kind of like adjustable lifters).Have any of you guys heard of them and if so where can I order them?

I'd assume you'd want a HKS lash killer kit..so any HKS dealer can get those for you...yes, we can get those for you : )

It replaces your hydraulic lifters with solid tappets. You can order them from a lot of places and companies...Tomei, Jun, and of course HK$. Remember, you'll have to use shims and re-shim as often as the vendor recommends.

Any ideas on how much they are and which ones are the best?

It's just a solid peice of metal...I can't see one being better than the other. They are all light weight and forged I believe I think the Tomei is the cheapest though. I heard Heavy Throttle sells them for around $100. I don't know if that includes the shim kit or not. Call and ask.

Another word of caution. You have to change your cams to solid-type cams when doing this conversion. All of the companies I listed before makes them.
