I thought those were illegal from what I've heard, well at least in Cali, who knows about Georgia, haven't heard anyone in the forum having one tho, but welcome to the forum

Laser jammers are legal in most states, but not in several. If you live in one of the latter, you will have to decide whether being caught with one is worse than being caught without it.
A far bigger problem is finding a jammer that actually works consistently. Do a lot of research before spending your money. There are several web sites that appear to be independent. As far as I know, none of the passive defenses work at all. A few of the active devices are effective, but not necessarily against all laser guns.
