Hm..I live in Vegas, but then again I'm only 16, so I can't really go in depth on the "fun" things to do here lol. If you are planning to move here, I think right now is the best time, as houses are still being built to fill lots [at least in my area] I know the value of our house now is a lot more than what we paid for it.

Summers are deathly hot, winter gets really cold..once in a while we may even catch a day of snow which is rare lol. But in general the weather can get pretty nice. Summer nights are the best here. I know of two people that lived in new york and moved here. I think they like it here better, but then again is a matter of preference.

Im not really concerned about 'fun'...i mean as far as im concerned, there are the same places anywhere you go, and im from NY, so i know how to make a good time ;) But like i said i was there in november, so i got the 'fun scene' and a little understanding of the weather...

I guess what im looking for is hows the job market..i would prob look into a job before i go there..i work in Professional sports, and i know of some teams in the same sports in the area, so thats always an option, as is changing careers...and housing...is it affordable? My friend just got a job there, and is going in July...she found a 2 bedroom apt, for $550 a month (which is amazingly cheap compared to ny)...i prob would not be looking for a house right away, but an apartment..

I would find a job first, before you move. But that is just me.
