I did a search on the forum and found no answers. Does anyone know what the largest rim size you can fit on a S13 coupe. Does anyone know if a 19x9 would fit on the back ?How about a 19x8 ?Thanks for any responce

To answer why ? Because I would like to buy deep dish rims for my 240/silvia and the deeper you go the nicer it looks. I am positive 18's will fit. But I would like to venture into 19's.

it doesnt necessarily have to be big to be deep, trust me

what you need is some nice 17s, how big of a lip, like how how deep do you want it? if you really want 18s they look nice too, but its much more a matter of how wide the wheel is than diameter...

WTF??? The size of the wheel has nothing to do with how big the lip is. More important is the width and offset. IMO 19" is too big. 18" is even a little big. I'd go with a nice 17" x 9" with the proper offset.

I don't think 19's will fit on s13's w/o major fender rolling. I have 18's w/ kyb agx + sportlines and they barely fit as is (front fender is slightly wide kit style, so they tuck in w/o rubbing.

Also, several other members have 18's and I think one of em (BomexS13) has a rubbing problem because he has some lip and wide wheels.

Another thing is to consider is the width + offset like the other guys said and what suspension setup you are going with. If you are getting coilovers, you may have to go staggered set up, like 8" wide probably biggest in the front w/ a pretty low offset. 9" wide will probably fit in the back, but that is also dependent on ur suspension setup. I believe there are plenty of guys on this board running 17x9 or 17x10 in the back. Offset is also key here, and of course, fender rolling.

Furthermore, I don't think they make any 4 lug 19" rims. There are also few 4 lug 18" rims. You may need a 5 lug conversion if you want those sizes and a particular rim.

The lip can be deep-dish w/ 17's. Those will look real nice when dropped w/ coilovers and done the proper width, offset, tire sizes.

18's & 19's will set the car higher, even when you lower it, and you can't lower too much because of rubbing issues.

Also remember, the larger the rim, the heavier it is, and the worse your ride will be.
