Step 1: Drain coolant. There's a plug on the radiator and the block, drain them both.
Step 2: Remove all hoses and upper radiator brackets.
Step 3: Lift out the old rad, drop in the new one.
Step 4: Reattach all hoses and brackets.
Step 5: Fill with 50% anti-freeze, 50% water (9 quarts total so 4.5 quarts anti-freeze and 4.5 quarts water. Most coolant comes premixed.

thanks, not really what I was looking for, when putting in alarger radiator you need to modify the brackets as the stock radiator is thinner than a performace one.

z1 and all the online part shops sell polished brackets for larger radiators, but the stock ones work fine. all you have to do is switch the brackets, from the stock position left bracket to modified position right bracket. below is a pick of mine, koyo radiator with stock brackets. of course it doesn't look as nice and maybe ill get around to the polished brackets sometime when i clean up my engine bay, but what the heck it works fine.

hey thanks guys....my radiator mounts dont look like yours......hmmm.

I also have an auto soooo that means I would have to be a separate cooler for the transmission. I think I might just go with a cheap stock one.
Does anyone know of a place that sells radiators at a good price?

Rockauto is pretty fair with OEM replacement parts.
