large water leak found on ground

Just bought a used 2004 Infinit G35 coupe, found huge pothole of water on ground coming from under car, any suggestions on what the cause..ive looked at it closer and its not oil..believe its water...also any suggestions on a good repair shop or infinit dealership to take coupe to to have this checked, im here in spring,tx...thanks

If it's pure water (i.e., not a mixture of water and antifreeze), a couple of possible sources:

1. Condensation from the air conditioner - If the A/C evaporator drain is plugged, it may only drain intermittently, dumping a lot of water at once.

2. Leak in the windshield washer reservoir - Folks often refill it with ordinary water.

You might also check for the presence of antifreeze in the radiator and coolant reservoir tank. Naturally, if someone replaced the 50/50 antifreeze/water mixture with pure water instead, that's all you'd see when it leaked out...
