Well ive been looking at the Apexi GT-Spec exhaust and it sais that it uses 3.74 inch tubing. When i search around I dont seem to find many people with exhausts that are that big. This leads me to wonder if that big of tubing has more cons than pros and if I should not get it. (it does say that its used to create maximium horsepower but on certain aplications.) Can anyone help me out?

Hi, welcome to the forums.

First off, try searching for exhaust size. This is mostly discussing 3 vs 2.5 piping, but same idea here but w/ more dramatic difference.

Unless you are going turbo, there is absolutely no reason to have 3.74" piping. A 3.74" tip is much different than piping - I'm too lazy to check the GT Spec specs.

In a nutshell: bigger piping = better upper end / smaller piping = better lower end, with some give & take & details depending on other mods, situation etc.
