lap belt problem

so my drivers side lap belt spring broke so it wont retracted anymore. I got a 4 point harness and was thinking about separating the lap portion of it and use it temporarily use it for the time be what would yall do.

I read somewhere that the seat belts are covered for life by Nissan.

this is true. as long as there have not been any modification to the seatbelt system they are supposed to honor the lifetime warranty. actually getting the dealer to order the parts and fix your car for free is the challenging part.

yeah and I cant even get the chance to go to nissan. I need a lot of think like new hing pins and bushings for the driverside door. The lap belt were talkn about, lol I just need to call in sick one day and get the stuff for my car.
