Lap America

Please note this is purely to gather interest a better write up will be done once I see interest.

Story behind all this: Last semester in college I had to start my own business for class. I decided I’m going make a company that organizes races from point A to B. After I did everything and my presentation was made I received an A+ for my project. So I was walking around campus last week and my teacher approached me asking if I ever tired the idea out. He helped me come up with a way were I wouldn’t have to put up any money until I gather up enough interest from people.

The bullrun and cannonball races are very exclusive and expensive for the common person to enter in. But there are a lot of people that would be interested in competing in a race like this if it was cheaper. I plan on setting up a race with 23 cars minimum from NJ to Texas to Florida and back to NJ. Plain and simple first car to get to all the checkpoints and back wins. This would be a race would be about tactics on how to fast to drive, not getting lost (for some areas can’t be found on gps), and how well u manage time. We suggest that all drivers follow the rules of the road but do not penalize for speeding or tickets. But fair warning to all we will be notifying a couple states that there will be cars speeding threw just to put a twist into the race.

Race:

Starting point - northern NJCheckpoint 1 - Texas (exact location is told on day of race) Checkpoint 2 – Florida (exact location is told when participates reach Texas) End - Same as starting point

So , does this involve speeding on public roads and putting innocent lives at risk? If you say no , how would you be able to tell?

Hmmm, pay $1k, chance wrecking my car and possibly lose my license in more than my own state... Wow the benefits sound sooo great! And what, no grand prize????
