Hi everyone, I have the 2018 QX80 4WD.
Recently, the lane departure warning light would come on by itself, and it would turn off by itself after I restarted the car. The light won't turn on every single time, let me say maybe every other few days.
I cleaned the sensors area, and it's not related to the temperature days, still the same. I can manually turn it off, but it might come back on after I restarted the car again.
Anyone experienced this on your car before? Is there any sensor not working well? Or if I do need to reset something?
Please advise. thank you

LDW/LDP on the Armada/QX80 strictly uses the Lane Cam, no other sensors involved. The solid orange means it isn't a blockage or "hot" cam, that would cause a blinking icon. You need to get a scan of the cam and the ADAS Controller, there's no way to intuit what the problem is simply from the warning lamp.

The camera that facing the front, located behind the rear view mirror, is it the lane camera ? Or the car using sides camera that under the both side mirrors?

Yes, the one up top is the Lane Cam. On the Armada/QX80 the side cams are only used for the Around View (AVM), although that isn't true on all models. If you have LDP (Lane Departure Prevention) as opposed to LDW (...Warning), it's also possible you have a problem in the steering or brakes that's disabling the system, but unless you're getting some other lamps along with the LDW, that's unlikely.
