In all honesty, I do like the Lambo door kits. In all reality, as mods go, you don't even see Lambos till you open the door. That's it! Once the doors are shut (and for real, blind idiot common sense dictates that you don't drive down the street with the doors open, right?) but once the doors are shut, you don't know or see any difference.

So I thought I'd ask here for the general consensus regarding Lambo doors. What say you?

I think Lambo doors look like way kewl man ... but only with a big azz wing, "Ferarri" tails, bagged, and all on a Mitsubshi Lancer (just the front doors though) with 14" gold "spoked" wheels. Oh, and one of those electric Turbonator things off Ebay for extra power.

Wait! You weren't talking about on a Z32? Cause that would be just silly.

No, but if I saw a Mitsubishi Lancer like that I'd prolly wanna run it off the road into a telephone pole. ;)

But for real, as mods go, the Lambos don't do anything different to the cars appearance. Like at all.

Okay in all seriousness then, "it doesn't change the appearance" when the doors are closed. Hence, the only justification for the expense of installing the Lambo doors would be if you lived in Southern California. Because, there you'd certainly be able to find a blonde with an IQ less than her her bust measurement, after silicone enhancements, who would gladly treat you right cause she thinks it is a Lambo when you opened the door along side the curb where she was trolling.

Yea, the more I think about it, you guys are probably right. I was going thru some online parts catalogs and ran across the Lambo mod kits and wanted to get the consensus of the board.

I don't understand why everybody hates on lambo doors so bad. IF they are on a car with a huge wing, crazy body kit, and underbody lights then yea its kind of ridiculous because the whole car is already on a ridiculous level BUT on a sleek (stock body no crazy bodykits) 300zx I think it would look good especially on a 2+2. The extra length in the back would look good with the doors up. Now with that being said I don't think they should go on all cars. If the body shape is wrong ie:to square it would look bad. I also think the 90* doors look bad the 45* looks way better in my opinion. At the end of the day its your car. What makes you happy should be what you do, because when it comes to cars the good (and bad) thing is everyone has opinion.

Forget the Lambo doors. Somebody might mistake your Z for the BMW i8. Go for something creative and unique. If you have leaking T-tops, I say go with Gull-Wing doors. Do a GT-40 thing. You could solve a problem and look unique. Where the hell is Vig when we need him? He could knock out those Gull-Wing doors in Styrofoam on his home made CNC.
