Lambogini doors

Hi I have KA24DE 1993 240sx coupeI would like to know if anyone can give me a step by stepmanual on how to convert my normal doors too the lift up lambo doors with all the parts nessesary.I see it can be done in about a day or so.Thank you.?

Step #1. find a honda forumStep #2. register thereStep #3. ask question on that boardStep #4. get the answerStep #5. perform the task Step #6. do not ask for opinions since most people here hate RICE stuff..

Dont worry DJturbo, I honestly and truely like the lambo door look. If i had an 89CRX I would cut and weld it into something it's not. You will find that 240s have been largely ignored by the rice crowd and aftermarket, and we are trying to keep it that way.

Don't do it! Don't ruin a perfectly good 240sx! Get a honda and do it. Hondas were meant to be riced out

Hey isn't that animation from that old video game prince of persia?Anyway,i've heard that those things are custom jobs and can cost up to 15 grand,and there is no "KIT" out for the 240sx that i know of.And doing it yourself would be very hard,time consuming,and expensive.

OOOOHHH DEAR! here we go again. HMMM..atleast didn't get as bad as nissanracer did! DO what ever you want to do. to be honest i prefer yo rather not ruin our cars but it's yours, you paid the money, do whatevr. I just hope you have performance to go wit the doors sa these guys can back off a little bit. and i don't mean intake exhaust and strut bar!

Vertical Door Conversion or "lambo doors" is cool but I dont think our cars would look very good with it. I've heard of a company in New Jersey(?) called Decah that does the conversion. Try decah.net and check it out.

There are companies in Japan who make the kit for the 240sx. If your interested shoot me an email. They are about double the price of what you would pay here for a civic kit, but come on, if it's from Japan, it's got to be cool

Lambo's are going to eventually hit the 240 scene like a ton of bricks. There not bad looking really but eveyone is entitled to there own opinion. I won't do it because I like my car the way it is, why try to change the characteristics of your car if it's why you got it in the first place? It's funky mod, the kind that if you just have no other way to go with your car mod-wise. Or if your into the show scene. Can't hurt points.

I think putting a lambo door on a 240 of the model 89-94 is pointless the open window frame would be bad jerk the window aroudn to much. If there was a frame around the top of the window that conencted to the door it wouldnt be bad.

But who know maybe lambos dont have that frame part either im just saying if you want to do it get some cushioned wweatherstrip otherwise your door is gonna fall apart into peices.

#2: they do...honda's are cheap, ricers are generally poor; you do the math.#5: its just easier this way, and 99% true.

Weeeeeelllll, i'm going to have to disagree with you there. The Honda boys I know throw garbage bags of money towards there cars. Think about it, there taking a econobox and trying to turn it into somewhat of a sports car. That's the thing about imports, low initial cost but there like 90whp/20ft lbs tq starting out! To get any speed out of them there is going to have to be a serious investment laid down. But this is assuming that the car is built for perfomance. Of course there are the guys that spend all there money on a body kit first because everybody else is getting one, that's totally different and kinda sad....

I think we are talking about different kinds of ricers...I'm talking about what I see here in hicksville Denton. It's nothing but 1987 4 door civics with rain gutter body kits and nike swooshes spray painted on (yes, I've seen the swoosh, talk about bad overspray :pface ) Where I am, its nothing but low class people driving low class cars, making them look even lower class.

#2 why be stereotypical about ricers being poor? ive seen ricers with money and they just dont know what the **** to do with it. here s13s are cheap as dirt and can be had for about the same price as a crx.#5 ive seen just as many riced out 240s as i have hondas. you cant classify where ricers come from. every crowd has its ricers. like this thread right here is a perfect example. ive even seen riced out c5 vettes. but oh well what can ya do? once a ricer, always a ricer.

Do you not get the concept that I'm talking about a specific group of people that happen to be ricing it up in the city I live in? For crying out loud its not stereotypical, its the gospel truth! Oh well, I have a sickening feeling you'd fall into my definition of ricer, if nothing else but by your attitude. Either that or my obnoxious as hell category.

Oh, THAT kinda ricer! The ones who can "hook" the cars up for $200 or less. The kinda that spray paints (and badly too) the Honda symbol on there Ford Tempos because it was "...cooler than the Ford symbol". The same ones that spray paint there stock rims with flat black paint and bondo there cars down even if they aren't going to put a body kit on. I know those guys. There funny, and when you try to educate them on the fine art of imports there like, "I know, I know! My cousin's boyfiend's sister's boyfriend has a import hooked up and I learn all from him! And he has a Neon with underbody light kit, faggy clear lights, a huge wing and Transformer stickers on it. Any proformance mods? Notta one. And it's not like there all are poor, hell i'm poor in my standards. They just, don't do right. lol

See, this is exactly the kind of ricers I speak of! I seriously saw one that had used a cut out template of a nike swoosh to spray paint it on the back of his car. You could tell he used a cut out template because the overspray around it showed a rectangle
