Does your local dealer spoil you???I guess mine does. Modern Nissan/Infiniti will give me the keys to pretty much anything on the lot and let me go. This includes the new Nismo Z. Without a saleman.

So, I've been looking at a USED G35 coupes forever now.We saw one at Lake Norman Infiniti that might fit the bill, but they had put it on the lot with a cracked windshield and some light scratches down the doors... Anyway, told them to call me when it was fixed up.So, I was near Lake Norman Infiniti today playing taxi (dropping off junior at a bud's house) and called them up to see if I could swing by the dealership and drive it down to show my wife at work.

Again, this is a USED 05 G35...NOT NEW....

They tell me ONLY if I am OK with the price and the trade AND a salesman has to ride too....

This was my last time there to purchase anything more that a soda from the vending machine.

You now see why BOTH of my G35's have Modern Infiniti stickers on them. (and yes, I know, I should take them off.)

Wow, that sucks. The locan Nissan store is the same way with me. Anything I want to drive, they let me take out.

The Infiniti store is in North Tacoma, (Stolen car capital of the US) and they will let me take out what I please without a salesman also. I was surprised that shortly after the G37 came out, I go in, wearing a T-shirt (brandishing the tribal sleeve tattoo on my whole left arm) and they copied my DL and insurance and tossed me a set of keys. The salesman even told me where to take it so I could "open her up a little".

Tell the guys at Lake Norman Infiniti to EAD.

lol I got my G from Lake Norman and I didn't have a problem at all... The car dealer let me take it down this backroad with no tags on my own (i was 17 at the time).

So yeah i was drivin my G around while my mom was takin care of paper work...

Didn't have any bad experiences except for the fact that they didn't have any complimentary cookies or drinks left. I actually like the showroom, i felt like i was in the foyer of the playboy estate lol

Well, they have changed management several times since you bought from them. They changed again just last week!!! ALL of the salemen are new! I've talked to several that left. They told me stuff that was not good. Hopefully, they will change management again next week!!!

I guess there is a reason they change the crew that offen. Easy to lose business like that.

I am happy with my infiniti dealer. They are awesome.

Maybe I should come to Cincy then, we have offices there now that we merged with Cinergy. Now, working with lots of great folks from there.

Ah, you're with Duke? Right before the merge I was integrating the EMC VTL's into the Cinergy Netbackup infrastructure (I also did work in Houston and Indy as well). Damn shame Duke uses Legato...

24 yrs now with them. Work with several still up there and several that have moved to CLT. Also worked with folks in Houston before the spin. Houston folks were much more of a challenge to work with due to all of the past mergers they had gone thru. They are now Spectra. I'm also IT, but software. Supporting financial systems (GL, Tax, Investor Relations, Cash Management....)

I liked my Houston trip. They had M35's at the rental desk

The only IT guy I worked with that was still there after the merger was John Ammons

Most commission jobs have horrible turnover in employees. Also people are so scared of the economy that buying is down in all fields. Thats why I switched to a salary job. Commission sucks.
