its 3:15 am @ Penn State Erie, the Behrend College. It started raining at 9, then turned to slight snow around 10-11.now theirs quarter sized snow flakes that have been falling for the past two hrs I suppose.

I have been waiting for snow this entire winter, and it finnally came the day before finals. my last week here (looks like im snowboarding tom morning)and Id go snow drifting right now, but I dont wanna loose my parking spot 10 ft from my dorm. (bonus! NO SALT ON THE ROAD YET!)

neone else exited about snow? Im from pittsburgh so it'll be a big change from about 4-6", to usually 2-4'.

Looks like a non-white Christmas in St Louis, thank goodness. Last year was nasty.

I've had a few inches on the ground a few different times, but the damn lake (you know what I mean...) keeps messing with the weather, and it'll rain three days after the snow and melt it all. I have no idea if we'll have snow on the ground for Christmas. My grandparents live about 15 minutes away and up in the mountains, and they've got tons of it, as the lake effect doesn't overtake the cold that high...I guess.

While I love snow, especially for driving in, there is no sensation I find less comfortable or more painful than cold. Plus, cold screws with my immune system. Last year was abnormally cold, and I ended up with pneumonia which led to a collapsed lung. I'd rather avoid that one this time around. I'll survive without cold if the temperatures stay as warm as they've been around here. Its 43 degrees outside right now, at 1:37 in the morning. That's warmer than I'd expect during the day this time of year. I love it.

lol you people and your excitement over snow. Thank god the lake effect hit the east side of the city (supposedly like 6-10" fell) and we just got like a little less than an inch on the westside. Glad the Z is in the garage all clean and dry

I wish I could see some snow. The last time it snowed down here it was 1989. Maybe this year we may get some.

I like the snow too! I think it is sooo pretty. But not too much accumulation. Right now there is light flurries here.

This is only the second time we've seen snow here this year. The first was a light covering on Thanksgiving.

I dont care if it doesnt snow at all in the winter, just as long as it snows on Christmas. It just doesnt feel like Christmas with out snow on the trees and ground

Lake effect just started here after the brief storm. They said 4-8 possible tonight. There is about 4 inches on the ground. Good old Indiana weather.

i love the snow, i wish it would snow down here, if i get lucky it might snow enough to get out of school for a day. that is just enough snow to make the less traveld roads slippery.

That's a great picture Rex. I remember a few years back when we wnet to Colorado it was similar to that. It was really weird. 5~20ft high snow "Drifts" all around you.

I wish we hot snow here. I don't like cold unless it snows. At least with the snow, you have something to do. Like go 'boarding or skiing, or just playing in the snow. It's way better then having 25 degrees and nothing to do
