I went to start my car this morning and had a lagging start with temporary chatter or clicking...I'm thinking it may be the starter and or solenoid which is what happened in the past with older cars...
Anyone had this problem before??
Also anyone know the abbreviated FSM section for the starter removal??

I'm not sure about your first question, but if the FSM is anything like my 2011 FSM, the section is STR.

Please update your profile to specify which car you have, etc. and location. Thanks!

Have your battery tested... Successive clicking is usually a weak battery and one single click is usually a starter issue. One of the big name car parts store will do it for free.

agree. sounds like the classic low voltage resulting in the starter solenoid not pulling in.
