I recently installed my Blitz LM and have noticed alot more lag than I thought I would. Is this just because of the big core and 3" piping? I am running the stock T25.

it makes sense, there is more space to be pressurized. If it is extreme, make sure to check for leaks in the piping:)

Yes, all the piping and big core are difficult for the little t25 to pressurize. Lucky for you, the blitz lm core has very little pressure drop. ;)

If it's extreme, you might want to triple check for leaks and make sure you're BOV is adjusted properly.

I mean, the difference shouldn't be night and day...just a little bit of added lag. I know with a WRX FMIC kit, it needs 2x the piping of a s13 and the difference should be much more extreme (goes from basically no piping and a tiny core to tons of piping and a mega core). I've felt a WRX before and after and it wasn't that bad.

Never had one without a FMIC but my lag is not really bad at all. It spools as quick as my old GSX with the stock sidemount.

hey DJ with your hybrid intercooler what hotpipe did you use?? I'm using the hybrid piping but the enjuku hotpipe and they don't meet up for crap. I finally go my Sr running but it bogs so bad I don't wana try to drive it yet I'm pretty sure tis a vacuum leak.

just get a really long peice of 2 inch vacuum hose like u get with the FMIC setup...thats what i had to do for the cold pipe...damn thing was WAY too short...so i just used a REALLY long peice of super industrial 3 inch vacuum hose ;)

hah thanks, I gave that a try but it didn't work :( the problem is my angle on the two pipes but I think I found a temporary if not permanent solution. I bought a 2" diameter radiator hose today that has a 45 degree bend in it. The 2" pipe fits perfectly and the 2.25 inch hotpipe can be worked into fitting. Haven't tried it yet but I think its gonna work. That leaves needing the BOV welded on and the o2 sensor hooked up and I think thats it.
