Maybe this is just normal, but it seems like my car has a lot less low-mid range power than even my dad's Taurus does. In first gear it even seems like the power drops off at around 4000. What could the problem of this be if anything at all, any suggestions on getting more out of it?

Done a tune-up on it? Fuel filter, air filter.KA's have a lot of low end power. Trying to think what is the ka's power drop off point think it's 5600. Isn't it guys.*Very tired can't think*
