lack of power to wheels and wierd idle

93 240sx KA24DE engine Automatic

Car starts right up all the time fine but sometimes maybe 1 start out of 15 it will have a very bad idle like the RPM will slowly go down until the car dies. To prevent the car from dying i have to floor the gas pedal and the RPM starts to SLOWLY.. make its way back up and until i hit about 3k the car is all back to normal.

As for acceleration problems. I cannot get power to the wheels whatsoever. It feels like i am driving a 1.0 Litre engine on a 240sx and it's not very fun. I floor the gas pedal and i get no power at all, all i hear is the engine working(very hard) but no power to the wheels. I brought the car to NISSAN they found NO Codes. They're suspicious that it could be a timing probelm but i was thinking more of a transmission problem.

come on guys any input on this? i need to use the car for my daily and i need it running properly until i have enough for a swap. Im also worried that if i keep driving it like this, i'm gonna end up screwing something else up.

Fuel pump going out or low fuel pressure in general? Could be that the trans bands/clutches are all broken down and just plain slipping. Sounds like fuel/pressure.
