Lack of power in my 2008 Rogue SL

I suddenly loss power in my 2008 Rogue SL. The first symptom was that AWD light and the break light showed up. I have 81,000 miles on it. Anyone have something like that happen? :nono:

brake light switch. check to see if your brake lights are operating when you press the brake pedal. (report back)
