Does anyone know where to buy the HKS 2mm head gasket? Some of the old post that I found give a part number(11044-91MM2) its a good nissan part number but apperantly its unavailable. motorsports use to have it but now they only cary the Kameari which cost $315. thats crazy! I had gotten the HKS 1mm one for $100 a couple years a go.

Who else makes a 2mm metal head gasket for the l28et?
cometic?

unfortunately the merger of Nissan Motorsport and Nismo really cut the availabulity of the Nissan motorsport parts, last I heard you can call Nissan Motorsport and they can sell many items that they no longer inventory but you have to call

importperfromanceparts.net sells a copper hg in varying thicknesses, cometic no longer lists the L28 but I'd bet they can sell make them for well under the kanrapeme price

i spoke to cometic and they can make it. Copper or MLS. Are the copper ones good? Can they handle boost is the real question?

They mention something about if they made a MLS it requires tooling. what is tooling?

I did some homework and have not found any one who sales the MLS gasket for the L28et. A few companys offer copper head gaskets or can make them and they are fairlly cheap however after some research it is said that copper gaskets are more affective when they are o-ring which require mechaning.

So im kinda confuse now? I dont know what to do or which way to go? Copper or MLS? Some one inlighten me.

If i go with copper can i run it with out having to machine my block or head for o-rings and if so how does it hold up under boost with out that procedure?
