Hello, i am thinking about stroke my 2.4, would be, L28 crank L24 rods, and Z20E pistons, stroke/2+rod+pin=204.25 vs 207.85 Block deck height, -3.6 below block.

I don't know about C.R. stuffs, the C.R. will be enough for a turbo engine? the head is P79.

I'm not familiar with those pistons but I don't think deckign the block is a good idea, once it's decked you'll never get it back, I assume you used the L6 engine utility to figure this out, it should show you the cr, as for what ratios are safe for turboing it depends on intercooling, turbo and engine management, the stock l28et is 7.3:1 and can handle 10 psi form the stock turbo with stock managment and stock turbo, I got 13 psi withotu intercooler on megasquirt, also keep in mind that the stock pistons will be cast and will still be a weak point, if your budget allows forged pistons are advised and worth the investmetn IMHO, I did an L28 crank, L24 rods with custom pistons and a bored l28 block to yield about a 9.5:1, megasquirted and intercooled, also the p79 is less than ideal and a p90 is worth the investment if you can find one, a good used head generally can be found for under $200
