L16/L18 same?

is the L16 oilpan the same as the L18 oilpan?

depends what car they came from......but they will swap over!MOST L4 parts will bolt onto any other L4.....likewise with the L6's

it came out of a 510. I switched it over to my Z20 and i wanted to make sure it was the same as an L16 so the swap will work right.

Stock from the factory L-18 pans are not the same as L-16 pans. That is not to say your pan is not an L-16 pan stuck on an L-18, if you are not the original owner or did not do the swap yourself. The pans look similar, but they are not the same.

the pans are different but interchangeable.not much diff that i'v seen.
