Hi,

I just recently bought a 1992 Nissan 240SX. I would like to replace my turning signals, with clear housings, and white L.E.D bulbs. But I've heard several rumors that you cannot just replace the bulbs, and have them work properly. I was wondering if anyone could give me some insight on my situation, and help me out.

Thanks for the help.Jake

depends on what you mean by LED turning signals...

There are the multi-led kind that are direct replacements (popular on ebay). Those work fine as replacements. Those won't give you the "LED" look like the newer cars, just led lights that will look like stock lights for the most parts.

Then there is the TRUE LED kind, that is a completely different pattern/type/brightness/mounting... which is only so far available at clearcorners.com for mucho moolah.

I must warn you that super white LED's actually look blue. I just took mine out today, because I got tired of the ricey look.

well I would like to produce a look just like in the picture there but pure white, with no blue tinge, I'd for sure get a ticket with those in, I've already had problems with Blue L.E.D side markers
