Well I started messing around with led's and so far have completed one sidemarker and I'm 95% done with one turn signal. Here are some pics.

Controller for the turn signal:





Should have the turn signal done by tomorrow night along with some comparison pics with the signal. The controller for the turn signal is needed because the light is dim when the parking light is on and lights up brighter when you signal. Haha, I thought the same thing. I got bored a couple weeks ago and designed a pretty simple FSM in Verilog for synchronized tail lights on the S13. I would build it, but meh.

Wow, I didn't even think about using a breadboard. That's pretty slick. I need to get back to working on all the donated tails that I got..

Something possibly worth mentioning. You can string 4 LED's in a row and totally not need resistors in line. Just throw one across the main circuit to keep the blinking going at the right speed.

lol, yes it is. 451M's are so nice to work with IMO. you can use them for so many other things, its nuts. car audio/security is my daily grind. for now... i wanna get into bodywork
