Are there any plans for a strut tower brace for the 4th gen coupe and sedan? I had one on my B13 SE-R and to date, have never seen a better build quality than the Stillen one. The machining of this thing was absolutely beautiful. This is something I think many, many people would jump on.

I have one installed on my SE-R, Stillen makes a great product, and the fitment was perfect.

I don't know about the sedan, but the coupe already has some bracing on the front strut towers. I'm not sure if this will help much. Of course if Stillen decides it does help, I'm getting it.

The stock A/C STB is a tiny tiny brace. I did mention this to Josh last time I was down there. They don't really have a plan for one as of yet. We were thinking of an over the engine brace, but the hood would hit. So the next step is something behind the engine. At that point the brace doesn't really do its job because it has to many flex points....

I saw one in a ad in a magazine so i eamiled MLo waiting on a reply back to see if they are actually selling one. "Stillen Strut Bar Avaiable for all New Altima Coupe and g35" something weird like that..

I saw that ad about a month or two ago in a mag, so I emailed MLo and she said there was no brace, nor any plans to make one. Hopefully things have changed since then.

Hey guys,

I'm sorry that I didn't see this thread sooner. This new format has kind of thrown us...

We have talked about a strut tower brace for the 07+ Altima's but we don't have a prototype ready just yet. We are looking at all the different options as far as routing the bar goes. These cars actually have them from the factory they're just boring and very small. Currently they mount from the strut to the firewall. They sit very near the wiper cowl.

If we build the STILLEN brace it will definitely help and be stronger than factory but it would basically be replacing something that is already there.

Anthony.. you're absolutely right. That is a mistake in our ad, and will be fixed (keep in mind the changes we make now will show up in 3-4 issues from now.. that's how far out magazines are.. )

Thanks for the heads up, and we apologize for the misinformation.

Blame Josh...He gets final say in the print ads...Not really, but you can blame him anyways.

well theres nothing wrong with a replacement is there? like the sway bar...

if the engine bay is an issue, why not just dupe the factory ones out of something lighter/stronger? (or am i not making sense)
