Thinking about changing the front struts/mounts/bearing with KYB. Have read a few negative things about the kyb bearings. Is there any truth to it? I assume my bearings and mounts are fine but thought I would replace along with the struts as they are original components. Anyone had any experience with these? Thanks

Read Alot of negative reviews on KYB mounts/bearings. Enough Info for me to spend the extra money and get all OEM Nissan parts (did purchase the KYB struts).

Thanks for the reply. I don't understand how such a basic part could be faulty from a company that otherwise makes quality products. Has anyone used KYB bearings and had problems first hand on their pathfinder?

There have been numerous posts, you may want to do a search. I did alot of searching before I ordered all Nissan mounts etc. As stated I did purchase the KYB struts (from Amazon-best price at the time). I wondered the same thing you did. The Nissan parts were ridiculously priced even discounted. The struts replacement wasnt going to be done by me so I didnt want to pay to have it done again due to the KYB mounts failing etc. Used KYB Gas A Just shocks in the back, easy job, replaced myself. Originals were stamped KYB.
